"Doon The Watter".. New Festival Alert!

Greenock is set to host its very first music festival, “Doon The Watter” with a hot line up of Scottish local and rising talent on the bill.

The Bluetones will play the one-day festival taking place in Greenock’s Cappielow Park, with other bands such as the Cinematics, My Latest Novel and Drive By Argument gracing the stage on Saturday May 19th.

Greenock-based promoters White 52 have arranged the gig hoping to attract music-lovers from all over Scotland. Managing Director Tommy McGovern said: “The bill has a deliberately broad musical appeal – we want to bring the community together and welcome an audience from Glasgow and beyond”.

The day’s full line up goes as follows: The Bluetones, Hothouse Flowers, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Drive By Argument, The Cinematics, Nick Harper, Cosmic Rough Riders, The Hedrons, My Latest Novel, Martin Stephenson & The Daintees, Crash My Model Car, Carol Laula, Dresden, Yashin
